Cortiq, Inc. ("Cortiq", "we", "our", "us") is a Delaware C-Corporation registered in the United States, with its principal address in Wilmington, Delaware. Cortiq operates this website (CortiQ.systems) and is the data controller for personal data collected through it, within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and the United Arab Emirates Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("UAE PDPL").

We collect only what we need to operate the site and respond to direct outreach. Specifically:

04 How We Share Data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose data only to:

• Vetted processors acting on our documented instructions: hosting infrastructure, transactional email, analytics, customer-relationship tooling. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement meeting Article 28 GDPR standards.
• Professional advisors — counsel, auditors, accountants — under enforceable confidentiality.
• Competent authorities, where compelled by valid legal process.
• An acquirer or successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, subject to equivalent privacy obligations.

05 International Transfers

Cortiq's primary infrastructure is located in the United States. Where personal data of EU/EEA, UK, Swiss, or UAE residents is transferred outside its origin jurisdiction, we rely on European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (Decision 2021/914), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or equivalent transfer mechanisms — supplemented by transfer-impact assessments and, where appropriate, additional safeguards.

06 Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected:

• Contact-form submissions and ensuing correspondence: up to 36 months from the most recent contact.
• Investor-relations records: as required by US securities recordkeeping rules and any applicable Reg CF intermediary obligations, typically five years minimum.
• Analytics data: 26 months maximum, in aggregated/pseudonymized form.
• Server logs: 90 days, then deleted or fully anonymized.

07 Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") where the legal basis has expired.
• Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. EU residents may file with their national data protection authority; UK residents with the ICO; UAE residents with the UAE Data Office; California residents may contact the California Attorney General.

To exercise any right, contact Privacy@CortiQ.systems. We respond within 30 days, extendable by a further 60 days for complex requests.

08 Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted transport (TLS 1.3), access control on the principle of least privilege, infrastructure hardening, and incident-response procedures. No system is impenetrable; we do not promise absolute security and we will notify affected parties and supervisory authorities of any reportable personal-data breach within the timeframes required by applicable law.

09 Children

This website is intended for adults engaged in business and investment activities. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any individual under the age of 18. If we learn we have inadvertently done so, we will delete the data promptly.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Effective" date above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via prominent notice on this page or, where appropriate, by direct contact.

These Terms govern access to CortiQ.systems and any related digital properties operated by Cortiq, Inc. They are a binding contract between you and the Company. Read them.

If you submit information through the contact form or any other channel, you represent that the content is accurate, that you have the right to provide it, and that it does not infringe any third-party right. 13 Governing Law & Forum

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

14 Class-Action Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and Cortiq each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action against the other. All disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis.

15 Modifications

Cortiq may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16 Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
